How to get our MP3 files into your MP3 player

How to get our MP3 files into your MP3 player

 

1.  Right click on the desired file in the table above.

2.  Select "Save Target As..." in the menu that appears.

3.  In the "Save As" window that appears, save the file in your "My Music" folder.  If you are not already in your "My Music" folder, you can get to it by single clicking "My Documents" in the left column of the "Save As" window, double click the "My Music" folder, then click the "Save" button.

4.  When the "Download complete" window appears, click the "Close" button.

5.  Plug the cable from your USB computer port into your MP3 player.

6.  After a few moments, a "Portable Device" window will appear.  If you do not see it, look at the blue bar to the right of the green highlighted "start" button in the lower left corner.  Click the rectangle that says "Portable Device".   If it is not already selected, select "Sync digital media files to this device using Windows Media Player", then click the "OK" button.

7.  Click the green highlighted "start" button in the lower left corner, click "My Documents" on the menu that appears, then double click the "My Music" folder.  You must be able to see the right column of the Windows Media Player that contains "Sync List".  If needed, put the cursor on the right edge of the "My Music" window such that the cursor turns into a double headed arrow.  Press and hold the left mouse button and drag the right edge of the "My Music" window until you can see the right column of the Windows Media Player.

8.  Put the cursor on the file you saved in step 3, press and hold the left mouse button, drag the file from the "My Music" folder into the right column of the Windows Media Player under "Sync List", release the left mouse button, then click the "Start Sync" button.

9.  When the Sync operation is complete, your MP3 player will probably display something such as OK to disconnect.

Subscribe to our Webcast

 

To subscribe to our Webcast or any Webcast on the internet, you must have a Webcast Aggregator.  You can either use iTunes or choose from list 1 of Webcast Aggregators, list 2 of Webcast Aggregators and list 3 of Webcast Aggregators

   

If you use iTunes,  just click our Webcast in iTunes.  If iTunes is not on your computer, you will be taken to a page to download it.  Once in iTunes, click the "SUBSCRIBE" button.  The message "You are about to subscribe to this Podcast which will download the most recent 

 

episode and all future episodes."  Click the "Subscribe" button.  In the left column of iTunes, a "Downloads" icon appears, remains during downloading and disappears when downloading is complete.  Wait until downloading is complete before proceeding further.

 

You only subscribe once.  After that, the most recent presentation is downloaded automatically.

 

  If your MP3 player is an Apple iPod, you perform a sync in iTunes to get our MP3 files into your iPod.  If you need help, in iTunes click "Help" at the top, click "iPod Help", click "Tutorials", then click the "Click to play" button for  "Downloading Music & Video to Your iPod".

 

  If your MP3 player is NOT an Apple iPod, you perform a sync in Windows Media Player to to get our MP3 files into your MP3 player. 

 

 

1.  In the left column of iTunes, click "Podcasts".  A table of Podcasts you have subscribed to appears.  In the "Podcast" column of this table, we are listed as "Rocket Science Ministries Huntsville AL".  If our presentation titles are not shown, click the triangle in front of "Rocket Science Ministries Huntsville AL".

2.  Put the cursor on the first presentation title underneath "Rocket Science Ministries Huntsville AL", right click, then click "Show in Windows Explorer" in the menu that appears.

3.  Plug the cable from your USB computer port into your MP3 player.

4.  After a few moments, a "Portable Device" window will appear.  If you do not see it, look at the blue bar to the right of the green highlighted "start" button in the lower left corner.  Click the rectangle that says "Portable Device".   If it is not already selected, click "Sync digital media files to this device using Windows Media Player", then click the "OK" button.

5.  In the blue bar to the right of the green highlighted "start" button in the lower left corner, click the rectangle with a folder icon that says "Rocket Science Mi..."  You must be able to see the right column of the Windows Media Player that contains "Sync List".  If needed, put the cursor on the right edge of the "Rocket Science Ministries Huntsville AL" window such that the cursor turns into a double headed arrow.  Press and hold the left mouse button and drag the right edge of the "Rocket Science Ministries Huntsville AL" window until you can see the right column of the Windows Media Player.

6.  Put the cursor on the file you want, press and hold the left mouse button, drag the file from the "Rocket Science Ministries Huntsville AL" folder into the right column of the Windows Media Player under "Sync List", release the left mouse button, then click the "Start Sync" button.

7.  When the Sync operation is complete, your MP3 player will probably display something such as OK to disconnect.

 

If you use a Webcast Aggregator from list 1 of Webcast Aggregators, list 2 of Webcast Aggregators and list 3 of Webcast Aggregators you will need to paste our feed address into your Webcast Aggregator.  Copy our feed address:

 

       http://www.rocketscienceministries.org/Audio/RSM.rss

 

       and paste it into your Webcast Aggregator.
