About Rocket Science
Ministries
Rocket Science Ministries is a Christian apologetics ministry based in
Huntsville, Alabama. Our mission is to strengthen the faith of believers and remove
impediments to faith for seekers.
Using the latest evidences from modern science, we demonstrate how the Christian
faith is a defensible, rational, and credible worldview. We are evangelical
Christians who believe in the authority of the Scriptures and hold to the
foundational doctrines of the Christian faith.
A common belief is that science and theology are in opposition, but we find
harmony between God's word, the Scriptures, and His creation. We believe that
valid science provides compelling evidence for the existence of the
transcendent, personal Creator who is none other than the God of the Bible.
Science verifies God's intimate handiwork in all that has been made. Rocket
Science Ministries exists to equip believers and seekers by providing reasons
to believe.

Dr. Mark Whorton |
Dr. Mark S. Whorton is an aerospace engineer with the NASA Marshall
Space Flight Center. He received a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from
The Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Whorton is an Associate Fellow
of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, a NASA
Administrator's Fellow and is the Principal Investigator for an
International Space Station experiment. He has been active in
Chapter development for the Reasons to Believe ministry and is a
member of Whitesburg Baptist Church
in Huntsville, Alabama. His beautiful wife
and three wonderful daughters keep him sane, busy, and in line.

Peril in Paradise: Science,
Theology and the Age of the Earth.

Hill
Roberts |
Hill Roberts has BS and MS degrees in physics. He works in the
aerospace/defense community as Chief Scientist at SRS
Technologies and has numerous peer reviewed
scientific publications. He has extensively written and lectured on
Christian apologetics as the leader of the
"Lord, I Believe" ministry.
Hill has conducted over seventy five "Lord, I Believe" seminars since 1987,
including lectures at Centenary and Cornell Universities, the
University of Alabama in Huntsville, the University of Alabama in Birmingham,
Southern Christian University, Florida College, in numerous US churches and
before scientific audiences in Russia. Hill is a former elder at Weatherly
Heights Church of Christ where he worships. |
Dr. Jonathan Fisher has B.S. and M.S. degrees in physics, and a Ph.D. in
Applied Physics from Alabama A&M. He is a Senior Research Scientist with
GH Systems, Inc. in Huntsville and has numerous conference and peer-reviewed
publications. He is an apologist with Reasons To Believe and is active in
several ministries at Willowbrook Baptist Church.

Dr. Rick Byrn |
Dr. Rick Byrn is mostly retired, but does consulting and volunteer work in the aerospace industry.
Rick was Vice President of Nichols Research and Assistant Vice President of SAIC.
His doctorate is in Nuclear Engineering as is his BS and MS degrees,
and he has an MA in Mathematics. Rick has specialized in probability methods
for solving complex scientific problems.
